Samsung to Merge Bada and Tizen Operating Systems

Samsung is going to merge their existing Bada OS with the upcoming Tizen OS which is made in collaboration with Intel. We showed you Tizen Screenshots a week ago, and it’s already confirmed that Tizen will be merged with Bada. Tizen apps will be backwards compatible with Bada. However, it’s the Bada OS that’s soon to be left alone by Samsung, as they continue making newer phones with the Tizen OS.

MeeGo successor “Tizen” screenshots leaked; might come with Samsung I9500

MeeGo, which was developed by Intel and Nokia, is now dead! Samsung replaced Nokia as Intel’s partner and developed a new OS together with the help from the linux foundation called “Tizen”. It can be seen in a screenshot that the web browser user agent shows “Samsung I9500″ which could be the next Galaxy SIII. What’s more interesting is, the I9xxx lineup is usually reserved for Samsung’s flagship-android phones. More information and leaked screenshots after the break!

Wave 3 To Be Launched In October.

Good news, Bada fans. The new flagship of the Samsung’s proprietary platform is just around the corner, with Samsung representatives confirming that the Wave 3 will be released in October. Previously all we knew is that the smartphone is coming in Q4 of this year, so October is the best we could have hoped for.
Europe that will be getting the Samsung S8600 Wave 3 first, according to the source. In India It will Be launched In November.
