I came across a “Top 10 Trusted Brands in India” chart in yesterday’s ‘The Times of India’. ‘Nokia’ tops the chart. Keep in mind that this is among ‘ALL’ the brands that are found in India. Nokia came second last year and they’ve outclassed ‘Tata’ to gain the pole position this year. Samsung Electronics is ranked forth in this chart.

‘WP7 Purple Tiles’ is a Windows Phone styled theme for Nokia Belle phones by Orange Design. WP-looking elements of this theme look great on Nokia Belle. Only the default icons version is available for download, at the moment. The CI version would be published at Nokia Store shortly.

‘Nokia Sleeping Screen’ app for Nokia Belle got an update today. Nokia Sleeping Screen is a unique screensaver app for Nokia Belle and Symbian smartphones. It gives your phone new looks while it’s in standby mode consuming very little battery-power. As far as I know, this v1.1 update improves the app’s compatibility with Nokia Belle.

NokiaPowerUser published an article yesterday that tells us that they got a tip from some anonymous ‘trusted’ source which contained the picture that I posted above, and a few details about the upcoming Nokia Carla and Donna updates. I had the opportunity to check the post, and I ‘think’ that this rumor is most probably fake, and I’ll tell you why.

Quick heads up, Nokia Maps Suite has been updated to v3.0. This update brings some improvements and bug fixes. (Nokia Betalabs website is still showing it as v2.0, though the filename tells otherwise)

‘MeeGo-nize Me (Dark)’ is a cool new MeeGo-inspired theme by Flotron. It is a default-icons theme but changes other elements than icons and gives your phone a beautiful look. :)
